A student of kwara state university Malete, Garuba Jamiu, has yesterday released a wonderful realtime mobile chatting spacegist messenger application to replace the multi-million whatsapp application. He said that the app is necessary as a of problems which whatsapp' users may encounter in 2017.

The officials of Whatsapp indulstry has early stated that whatsapp application will no longer valid on some mobile phones including blackberry, java, some Nokia among others.
The application is designed to work on all mobile phones. Spacegist messenger is a free mobile app designed for users to chat, send and receive message, audio and video, send and receive documents, pdf, powerpoint, etc.
According to him, "Users can start making money from this app, advertise their product, goods and services, and also relate with their families and friends anywhere in the world.

Failure of bio-metric machine stalls payment of N5, 000 stipends in Kwara– Official

Mrs Aminat Yahya, the Director, Conditional Cash Transfer Scheme in Kwara , said failure of the biometric machine stalled the payment of the Federal Government’s N5,000 stipends beneficiaries in Kwara. Yahya told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ilorin on Friday, that the exercise ran into a hitch in Isin and Oke-Ero Local Government Areas of the state#, adding that the machine went bad when it was being used to pay farmers in the two areas. She also said that thumb prints of farmers were not captured easily in the biometric data due to the nature of their occupation. “Farmers’ thumbs, especially in Isin and Oke-Ero and some other areas, too, could not be thoroughly captured.
